Important Update: Delays in Order Deliveries for Select Countries

Dear Neumi Member,

We wanted to let you know about an unexpected delay affecting orders destined to our European markets. Despite our efforts to ensure timely deliveries, certain logistical challenges beyond our control have impacted our regular schedule. Here is the information of the delays: 

Country Specification 
General

Possible delays of 1-2 days seen in the network due to the latest and/or ongoing hot weather conditions. This, regardless of which carrier or which destination.

As carriers needed to make some adjustments to better cope with the heatwaves this can impact the course of operations

Israel 

DHL resumed its services to, through and from Israel. 
Delays might still be experienced as the carrier is working hard to handle the backlog caused by the temporary suspension.

 Italy

Possible delays in the network. In Italy, several HUBs are subject to local strikes resulting in possible delays.

Greece 

Occasional delay of 1-2 days seen in the network.

France

Due to wildfire in the south of France and the nationwide Tour de France (which lasts from July 5th to July 27th), delays are expected in the network. Additional delays are expected in week 29, due to a public holiday on July 14th.

Spain

Due to wildfire in the north of Spain, disturbances in the network and delays are expected to and from Spain.

Germany

Delays of 2 to 3 days are seen in the network due to high volumes, summer holidays season, and temporary workers replacing permanent ones during the holidays.

The Netherlands

The Nijmegen Four Days Marches will take place from Tuesday, July 15th, to Friday, July 18th. Due to the walking routes and road closures, Nijmegen city center will have limited to no access for deliveries and collections. Multiple delays are expected.

Access will also be limited on Monday, July 14th, due to the event setup.
