KYC Identity Verification - Payquicker Update

Dear Neumi Family,

In efforts to keep you and your hard work safe, we are implementing KYC (Know Your Customer) into Payquicker for a few countries for extra security. 

Know Your Customer will apply to the following countries:

United Arab Emirates

Morocco

Ghana

Kenya

Nigeria

Qatar

Saudi Arabia

Israel

How does it work?

• What's Mitek KYC? It's basically PayQuicker's go-to digital ID checker (used to be HooYu). They make sure you are who you say you are, so you can get paid fast and safely.
• Is it safe? Yep! Your info is locked down with a TLS-encrypted connection. Best part? Mitek deletes all your uploaded documents within 72–96 hours after you successfully complete the ID check.
• What stuff do I need to verify my ID? You'll need a few things:
  • One valid, current proof of ID:
    • For the EU: Passport or National Identity Card.
    • For the GBP: Passport, Driver’s License, Identity Card, Travel Visa, Residence Permit, or a PASS Card.
  • One proof of address (must show the date, your name, and current address):
    • Dated within the last 90 days: Utility Bills (gas, water, internet, electricity, or landline—no mobile phone bills!) or Bank Statements (front page with some transaction history).
    • Dated within the last 12 months: Tax Documents (like council tax, or letters from IRS/HMRC) or Insurance documents.
  • A Liveness Check: Just a quick selfie/short motion capture to confirm you match your documents.
• Why is this a big deal? They have to check your ID to follow local government laws and regulations, which ultimately keeps your money safe and secure.
• Will I get locked out if I don't do it? No, you'll still have access, but it'll be limited. You won't be able to receive payments until you verify your identity.
• Can I put it off? Sure. If you postpone, you'll be sent to your Account Overview page. There will be a banner reminding you that your ID verification is incomplete, and you'll still have those account limits.
• What happens after I finish? Once your identity is verified, you'll be redirected back to your Account Overview page, you can start receiving payments again, and you'll get an email confirming your approved account status. Sweet!
• How do I know if my documents were rejected? The rejected documents will be highlighted in red with a little red caution icon.
• What if I leave my Mitek session early? No worries. If you stop while uploading documents, Mitek will pause your session so you can jump right back in and finish the process later.
